Weather: using drag and drop to complete conversation

This activity took place in the context of learning vocabulary for different types of weather. In this extract the class was divided into different groups;with each group completing a different activity in Welsh. In the extract a group of four learners were chosen to play a game on the IWB which had various activities. In this clip an individual learner is completing the activity with the other members of the group assisting. The activity required the individual learner to read an everyday conversation involving two characters and then drag the sentences into the correct place so the conversation made sense. The teacher also supported the learner by reading the sentence and offering help when necessary. Once all the sentences have been placed in the correct spaces the IWB offers instant feedback by playing a congratulatory sound.
