Likes and Dislikes: using hide and reveal to conceal text and images

This activity took place in the context of a grammar lesson requiring learners to say and understand what they like and dislike using the third person. This particular clip is an extract from the final part of the lesson for learners to revise what they learnt. The class was split into two teams and individual learners from each team had to drag the red squares to either reveal a sentence in Welsh or an image. Behind the squares the teacher had randomly locked in place various sentences and corresponding images that the learners had to match. If the learners uncovered the text with the wrong image;or vice versa;the squares were placed back where they came from and the other team were given a chance to play. The learners had to read and understand the sentence in order to work out what picture to look for.
