Disgrifiad

This activity took place in the context of learning the vocabulary for different types of weather. This extract is from the first activity of the lesson where the learners had to read the sentence and match the weather in the sentence with the correct image on the IWB. The teacher reinforced the vocabulary by reading out the sentence for the learners to listen to. For each sentence;a learner was selected to come to the board and select the correct image. If the learner was correct;the IWB responded instantly with a congratulatory sound and visible red tick. The activity also involved a stopwatch on the IWB so the whole class had to try and get as many correct matches as possible in the given time.
