Dates: Writing the date

In this routine introduction to their English session;this class of primary school EFL learners (9-10 years old) is working on the date: today;yesterday and tomorrow. One learner comes to the board to write the next day’s date using the pen tool and the labels for days;months;and years on the page;saying each word aloud with help from the teacher. Another learner then repeats the next day’s date as written on the board. At the end of the English class;the teacher redisplays the IWB page with the date written by the learner;for the class to copy into their notebooks.
