Following a Skype video-conference in which the learners got to know each other and exchanged video-selfies using the Google Drive to store them, two remote classrooms in Germany and France decided to create new versions of stories they had previously read in class and shared them with the learners in the other class. The new stories were made using the iPad which enabled the learners to combine audio and visual material and create an illusion of movement, so that the story resembled a cartoon. In this way, learning new phrases is maximized by not only using a rich input and contextualizing it, but by re-creating the material using their own resources.
