Description

In this clip;the teacher invites one of the learners from the class (a young FCE group of learners aged 13 years old) to go to the board and drag the animals from behind the yellow block and match them to the sentences. As the learner reveals the image;the teacher;who is sitting with the learners;initiates discussion with the class about the animals as they are revealed. By giving the learners responsibility for revealing the different animals;each of them are able to engage more with the content and give the teacher the opportunity to be more involved with the group. As with many gap-fill activities for exam-level learners;there are more images than are needed for the gaps.
